This book was unbelievable!!! We are introduced to Emily who is down on her luck. She loses her only paying job (though you can tell she was unappreciative of it), is about to be evicted from her shared apartment and when she (as usual) calls her adopted parents for a financial bail-out...she becomes the world's worst child, forgetting it's her adopted mother's birthday.

Soon a knight in white armor emerges to save the day, who happens to be the CEO of said company she was recently terminated from. He miraculously presents Emily with a job of a lifetime. To become his wife's au pair/ live in assistant where: she gets her own vehicle, gets her own house on their estates property and a large wage....in France.

But let me warn you, no amount of money will be able to hide the secrets this perfect new life and family hold.
