I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I have a problem of figuring out what’s happening early on in mysteries and thrillers but this one definitely kept me guessing!
What seems to be a dream job for Emily quickly turns out to be anything but. The relationship between Emily and her parents is in a way heartbreaking.
The author did a great job with the alternating points of view and I was surprised to learn this was her debut novel. I look forward to reading more books written by her.
My only complaint would be not finding out more details about what happened to Emily as a child. The author did a great job of leaving it open to the readers imagination and explaining why Emily stops digging into it on her own.
