In a strange twist of fate, her former boss, Scott, (the job she was just fired from) offers her a job helping his wife, Nina, with their home in France and their 6-year old daughter, Aurelia. But, things aren't quite as idyllic as they seemed at first glance. Are Scott and Nina keeping secrets from Emily, or is the isolation getting to her?
The short chapters and suspenseful storyline had me turning the pages and devouring this book in just over 24 hours. I can't believe this is a debut novel and look forward to what the author writes next.
