I really wanted to like this one more than I did. Sadly I was a bit underwhelmed with it. it was predictable and I felt like the book was just a bit too long.. There were parts I enjoyed, but it just left me wanting more. I think its probable that I read entirely too many thrillers and its getting really hard lately for me to find one that gives me that shock factor that I love so much. I did think that the cover for this book is absolutely gorgeous - I would love to go to such a lovely tropical location. I did think the writing was good and I think I would definitely check out something else by this Author. Although this book wasn't exactly what i was wanting - I did keep my interest enough for me to finish it and find out how everything turned out. I do think for a debut novel that the character development was well done. The story took a bit to get into but about the 50 percent mark it got better.
