I read this book within 2 days which is impressive for me because I usually take about a week to read a book. I truly enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I loved the overall story line and how each chapter focused on one of the main characters thoughts. The story itself is scary, but written beautifully. The cover is nice, but I wish it showed a bit more of what the "Safe Place" really looks like so that I could get a better visual. The main character is just a normal person and she is very easy to relate to throughout the book. Her boss is also down to Earth for the most part, but I find him to be annoying especially as I found out more and more about his life and his thoughts about his family.
