This book was such an engaging and fun read, it kept me on my toes the whole time! I definitely knew there was something up with the Denny family. Scott was always so nervous, his daughter Aurelia acted out, and his wife Nina was always hiding things. I did not see the ending coming though, and I never would have even guessed it. I thought that Scott was going to be much more involved and it was going to be a twisty love triangle thriller, NOPE! Set in a beautiful French estate with all of the luxury you could imagine, this novel was atmospherically enchanting, but dark and twisty below the surface. I loved the relationship between Nina and Emily, how strangely co-dependent they were. I felt like I needed to look over my shoulders while reading! Such a great summer thriller that I'll be recommending to all of my friends who need a read for by the pool.
