Extremely predictable, a bit slow. Kind of boring actually and Emily was naive and a little dumb. I don't really think she was a strong character, let alone an interesting one.. or just a good one in general. The writing was good but I expected a bit more from this. It was very readable and easy which I always enjoy. The "twist" I already saw coming and I was left with disappointment because... that was it?? I expected more from the title and the cool cover.. I thought the cover was great and made for an interesting picture for the premise. I did also like the setting, I thought it was interesting.
Overall, this is just another fairly forgettable thriller. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it however I am not against reading another future book by this author. I would look into reading whatever she puts out next just because I enjoy her writing style that much.
