Why on earth would I want to read a timeless story about a boss man manipulating his young, naive, dumb employee? Why would the author even write such a nitwit of a main character? This woman is the epitome of everything society sees wrong with women of her age. She is incapable of being an adult; can't hold a job, pay bills, or grocery shop. What value is this book adding to our society?
