Maybe I biased myself when I read the blurb but I just couldn't get into Anna Downes "The Safe Place". It just made me cringe in a creeped out way. It's not to say the writing doesn't seem well done. It does. I was drawn in at the very beginning; however, I personally could not get past the creeped out feeling.
