Not for me

I'm typically not much of a mystery/thriller reader unless a premise really draws me in, and unfortunately this one just didn't do it for me. I found both of the main characters introduced, Scott and Emily, to be unlikeable, and maybe when their story lines converge later in the book I could grow to like one of them, but their characterizations and choices didn't make me interested. What I did like about the snippet is that it's dual perspective in alternating chapters, and usually what that occurs it's written in first person narration but this time it was written in third, so it still gives you that eerie feeling following the events surrounding a certain character. I'm sure this is the perfect book for someone, just not for me.
