Based on the description of this book I was worried. This looked like another slave narrative story where nothing is resolved. Instead I got a highly researched and deep novel about the obsession with Black exploitation ( symbolism, mascots, etc,) and how it is counters to reality. I am highly interested in the book and I think it is going to be a hit!
