I don't typically LOVE historical fictions, though I have been trying to diversify my reading and explore book genres that I am not usually drawn to. After checking out the first look, I can already tell how important this book will be. Given everything going on in the US right now with Black Lives Matter and the ongoing protests, this book could not come at a better time. The cover is interesting, and I hope to read more!
