My first impression of this book came from the cover. There's anything about it that immediately caught my eye or my attention. The red color did provide a nice 'pop,' but outside of that, the cover is pretty bland.
Author Sofia Lundberg is so insanely talented. If you haven't heard of her or her work, you're missing out. And you definitely should read this book.
Main character to Doris is so amazing. She is 96-year-old woman living alone in her Stockholm apartment. She skypes frequently with her American grandniece in America. Jenny is her only living relative. These calls make her so happy and reminds her of her youth.
Doris's father gave her an address book when she was younger, and she uses this book to keep track of her adventures in life. She has documented everyone she's met and loved in her life in this book. This book explores her life adventures and helps Jenny with her own.
Based on this book alone, I would read many many more books by Sofia Lundberg.
