One of the things I love most about writing is how it can affect readers so deeply. A story written in first person like this is powerful because the reader is listening to the character's thoughts and cannot help but be drawn in, like I've been. It's going to be a great journey following along with this story and I hope I'm chosen to do so. She seems like a very deep character with a fantastic story to tell, and it's a story you probably wouldn't be able to guess if you saw her in person. Just another reason why I love books so much--they show you every side of the character, including the view they want to hide from most others. Yet, the pages open and allow you to read, engage with and remember the person as who they are. This is going to be a great read!
