The Red Address Book tells of an old woman who as a young girl was given an address book by her father. Doris looks forward to Skype calls from her American grandniece Jenny. Over the years, she puts down the names of everyone she meets and decided she would put her past to pen and paper. Along the way, she tries to help Jenny with her childhood. This charming book has a historical background. This story reminds me of The Thirteenth Tale, but without the plot twists. Sofia Lundberg's writing style is beautiful and paints a vivid image of Doris's life. The book has situations that anyone could relate to. I would recommend this story to anyone who loves family mystery and a strong family love for each other.
