This book got me right from the beginning with the description of everything on the table. I felt like I could see it and feel it around me. There is something about Doris which makes me want to sit down and have coffee while listening to her tell me about her life growing up; the people she has loved and the people she has lost.
I am very much looking forward to this coming out and it feels like the perfect fall/winter read.
