I like the idea of this book. An elderly woman who lives alone is going through her old address book and remembering the people listed inside.
I may be mistaken but I now have the impression that almost everyone in the address book is dead.
In the excerpt I read, the first person listed was her dad. The first impression is about him giving her the book. But then a second story is listed about how he passed away.
I am biased, I don’t enjoy sad books.
If this book is a collection of stories about how each person she loved passed away, it is not for me.
