First off I adore dutch novelists and this book is no exception. I'm already in love with Doris and want to travel through time with her to be a witness to her memories. What a wonderful concept this novel is. We all have these old address books tucked away somewhere (I know I do) and looking through them certainly brings back memories of past relationships, both good and bad and lost friendships, people and places you lost touch with over the years. What a fascinating novel! I'm sure Doris has some great stories to tell and I am definitely a very willing listener/reader!
