I am totally not the demographic this was written for, but it was still a fun read. I found myself giggling and laughing out loud while reading this. This read about camp and all brought me back to the movies like "MeatBalls" and other movies that consisted of a lot of highjinks.
Don't get me wrong. The book is not just a comical book. There is also a bit of innocent in the book that I really enjoyed. Its a coming of age book and also pays a lot of attention on friendships. Especially the friendships that these boys have. It did remind me a lot of my son and his friends and even there love of video games, although there are not many camps anymore like that. lol
All in al lthis was a fun book to read that was able to just take my mind off of life and escape in my mind for a few hours as I read this book. Its not going to change your life, but it is going to make you smile and forget about life for a while.
