Fun for Middle-grade Readers

I can definitely say that The Quest for the Golden Plunger is not for me. I would recommend the book to anyone interested in reading middle-grade or anyone who would like to give this as a gift to a middle-grade reader. I assume that this book will be too young for anyone on this site. I don't want to assume it is a terrible book though. I remember enjoying fun books like this when I was younger.
