Sadly, I am not a fan of this book. I read a couple chapters and was very disappointed. I was hoping for an exciting fast paced YA fantasy with kingdoms, queens, and mysteries. Sadly, what I got was slow paced and confusing writing. Granted, I only read a small sampler of the novel. I could be wrong about the book. It may just have a slow start. Still, after reading a bit I was definitely not intrigued. I was also confused with the story and where it was going. I do not think I would like this book and be able to finish it. I do like the cover of the book though. It got my attention and I think it is an excellent cover for a Young Adult fantasy book. I do hope I am wrong and the book gets better.
