In my honest opinion, YA high fantasy comes a dime a dozen, and the vast majority of the time, it's mediocre at best. Despite this, I've heard great things about this author, and was curious. I love the cover, and the concept is mildly intriguing. After reading the sample, I'm interested in reading on, but unsure whether I would like this book or not. I would probably only consider buying this book if it were available cheap on ebook, as I'm not sure if it's for me. However, I can definitely see this book having a large fan base in the near future.
