This sample was a good start to an young adult fantasy intrigue. The world set up was well done and I am interested to see how else the author builds on it. The character build could use a little work. I am hoping to see better conversations between characters.
The cover is good. It has a nice border of black flowers and brings you in to the blood filled cup. Definitely an eye catcher.
