There's so much exposition int he first couple pages, it drags down the story. And on top of the introduction from the exposition scroll, we get an additional prologue just to drag out this introduction more?
I could not even finish the first actual chapter, I was so bored.
Maybe this has more potential the more I read, but a slow introduction is a deal breaker, especially with no warning on the fairly triggering blood magic.
