I think one of the most appealing parts of this book is the cover. The colors and design draw you in. As a reader, I know that having a good cover is important. Even though a cover doesn't make a book bad, it could change the readers mind about if they buy it or not.
I also enjoyed the characters. I thought they were easy to read about and relate to. Gemma was a really great character and was really fun to read about. I loved how the lead was a strong female. Those are some of my favorite books to read! I also thought the authors writing styles was nice. It helped make the book easier to read. I thought the beginning of the book was interesting and hooked me in. I'm not sure this is a book I would read again, but it is definitely not one I regret reading. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fantasy book with a strong female lead and an enjoyable plot.
