I ABSOLUTELY LOVE G.A. Aiken or Shelly Laurenston, she writes books I can totally swoom for and get lost in. My favorite of hers is the raunchy[ ;) ] Dragon Actually. Which if you haven't read, you honestly should! Like right now!! The thing I hate about fantasy books is how the female main lead follows the same eye rolling, boring role (dainty, brave, docile, until she learns that love and friendship will work in the end baddie fight.) Yawn. Its boring, its so overused. Not here though. G.A has given us a protagonist thats actually snarky,spunky, strong from point A to (hopefully) point B (for badass ending) it starts with Brother Gemma, a woman leading monk knights(!!!) Who challenges the heads (!!!) Speaks her mind. Literally a single line made me fall in love with her

Thats it. I need this book. Just like all her other ones. Pretty ordered, 5 stars. Im anxiously awaiting this book! I might just have to revist Fearghus the Destroyer and Annwyl the bloody in the meantime....!!
