Gemma is quite the character and I couldn't help but feel like she needs to be my best friend. Sarcastic, crude, and entirely confident, she is the powerful woman warrior I want to follow through a novel. Just from the sample, I know I will love this book. The humorous tone mixed with brutal murder creates such an interesting juxtaposition, not to mention a warrior monk/princess. The story line is also captivating and I hope to read more soon!
