The beginning had you hooked! Then the talk about the poisonous lake, and forbidden. Watchers, drownings, singing....Seems like this book is right up my alley. Need to find out more as to why Pieter couldn't stay with Isola on the Island. This is going to be a great book, just from the first impression.
