Upon reading the synopsis for this book, I wasn’t that interested, but I decided to give this first look a shot anyway. I was drawn in by the writing style, which flows so nicely that I just had to keep on reading. The more I read, the more the concept of this poisonous lake came to intrigue me. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this first impression and I can’t wait to read the rest of the story!
