I'm so intrigued by this! The initial world building is very cool, but also very, very creepy, I can tell there's something wrong--and automatically the idea of 'this OR this, no alternatives, there are major red flags! And a spooky sentient forest? And poisonous waters?? Very very cool and very very creepy.
