Thank you to #Bookishfirst.com and Celaon publishers for this ARC and thank you to the author for this wild ride of a book. Rounding it up to 3.5. stars. Not quite a 4 star book for me since the first 100 pages were slow for me and almost gave up and didn't finish it. When I got to page 100, it just picked up and I just kept on going. I'm so glad I finished it because even though I would have read the ending, it wouldn't have made any sense.
What a roller coaster of a book. It was a book inside a book literally. I was blown away by the deception and the goings on especially at the end. I'm not good at figuring out mysteries and this one was no exception. It got a little crazy with Jake going to different places and trying to figure it all out and not telling his wife what was happening and why he was doing this. That sort of bothered me.
