The Plot thickens
Thank you again Celadon books and Bookish First for an arc of The Plot. This book started off REALLY slow. I skimmed over our MC's sections of the book because this character drained my energy.
I found him to be so sad and pathetic. And it did not get better. The entire premise is that he was an okay-ish author who finally gets the fame he believes he "deserves" and still CANNOT enjoy his life. This man should have NEVER stolen his ex-students idea if he was not trying to live the YOLO life.
Honestly, he got what he deserved at the end. I felt no remorse what-so-ever for the demise of this dude thinking he was due this fame. Greed was his weakness and he jumped at the opportunity when another a-hole ignorantly gave this AMAZING plot to him.
My favorite parts were the snippets of the Crib, that has the mind-blowing twist. I won't give away the ending but I will say love a good wrap-up to the truth behind the REAL plot.
