Wow! How do I begin to describe my reaction to "The Plot"? I was immediately intrigued by "the plot" (haha) and I loved how one of the themes of the book was: who exactly owns an idea and when is it considered stealing. And even though I figured some of the twists early on, it didn't bother me because I still wanted to see how everything would play out. The beginning was a little slow, but not slow enough to keep me from reading and once the pace quickened, it was hard to put down.

The main character was very believable and relatable and I found myself going back and forth between rooting for him and then feeling like he had done something wrong. The storyline was smooth and I didn't feel like there were any "slow" places. I read the story pretty quickly and had trouble putting it down, even for something important. Jean Hanff Korelitz is an author I will be looking for again.
