Superbly written and expertly presented. Jean Hanff Korelitz offers a slow-burn, unique, and engaging prose. Readers will love the perspective offered from that of authors and the struggle that they face both internally and externally throughout their journey in the writing world. The book’s characterization is well-crafted and bold, easily engaging readers and absorbing them into the storyline. While the narrative does not necessarily offer an overtly tensive feel or elusiveness, there is an element of suspense combined with intrigue that effortlessly keeps readers invested in the outcome from start to finish. Great read, highly recommended, five stars.
