This book was interesting, but very predictable. It's one of those books that promoted so much, the reader's expectations are very high going into the book. Unfortunately for this book, it did not quite live up to those expectations.
I figured out the twist well before the end, I wasn't even a full third of the way through the book, and so I kept waiting for there to be something else. There wasn’t.
The characters were interesting and well-developed, and I did keep reading because of this. There was also a definite story arc the reader was able to follow, and I think the book is well written, but it was definitely over-hyped. Also, I didn’t like the ending… I got the point of it, just didn’t like it.
If you are just beginning to get into thrillers, you would probably enjoy this one. However, if you are a thriller book addict like me, it may fall flat for you.
