Books about books
Like many readers, I'm always interested in that subgenre called "books about books". I'm also a big fan of mystery novels, so I was very interested in reading this is as it combines the two genres. I enjoyed the first quarter of the book very much. Unfortunately, after that the book became steadily less interesting and my attention started wandering. I correctly guessed the villain before I was halfway through the book. I finished the book because I had committed to write this review, otherwise I doubt I would have finished it. I feel it's important to be supportive of writers - writing a book is hard - and I hate leaving bad reviews. So I won't be reviewing this book on any other websites. That's just my personal review policy.
