This book has it all— complex characters, beautiful writing, and a captivating plot. It tells the story of a failed writer who steals a plot from one of his writing students. While that decision catapults him into success, it also haunts him for the rest of his life.
I was not prepared for the many twists and turns this book would take. It ended up being much more of a true crime read than a thriller. The ending was disturbing and mind blowing, and made me wish I had read this for a book club because this is the kind of book that needs to be discussed.
