I'm so torn with this book. Was it gripping and did it hold my attention the entire time? Yes. Was there truly a big twist that had me floored? No. Absolutely not. I saw it coming from around page 120 ish. All of it. That couple also be because I've read a LOT of thrillers. My biggest advice, go into it blind, don't even read the summary.

The writing is fantastic, so I'll be reading more of Korelittz's books. To be able to keep me flying through a book even though I'm 99% sure I've figured it out, says a lot for me because I'm a big dnf'er.

I do have a thing for unlikable characters, which we definitely have here. I just love to loathe them lol.

It starts off a bit slow, but I felt it had its purpose. I'd still recommend this to people who enjoy thrillers, maybe to those who haven't been reading them for 25 years or try not to figure out what's going on. Hopefully that makes sense. Because it's still a great book and I have zero regrets spending the time reading it.

Huge thanks to Celadon books for my review copy!
