Although the premise of this book sounded very promising from the prelude description of the book, as the reader engages in the beginning chapters, it becomes difficult to connect the intriguing early promise to the first several chapters as written. Sadly, the hint of mystery that was tantalizing in the early description fails to materialize early enough in the novel to continue to grab the reader’s attention. Hopefully as the book progresses, the reader will find the thread of initial promise recaptured!
