I love the premise of this book but the first couple of chapters left me uninterested. I found some humor in these few pages - enough to be intrigued but that's about it. I think Jake is starting off in a good place (room for growth and improvement) but I'm not loving the character right away. Is he pretentious? Or is the book? Will have to read more to decide.
