As soon as I read the synopsis of this book, I knew I wanted to give this book a try. It sounded very interesting, and I was intrigued by the mention of the Korean independence movements and the main character, Willow's, determination to forge ahead in life. I was very pleased with the novel after reading the preview of it and cannot wait to read more. Willow is a great character, and I am a fan of the author's style of writing and how she describes in such detail. I think a lot of people, especially fans of historical fiction, will really love this novel. The cover is also very nice and is an accurate reflection of the novel itself.
