Who was the mystery patient? Why did everyone stay far away from him? Why did they say he was incurable? What made so many people that work with him go crazy? Parker a young psychiatrist fresh out of school begins a new job and is intrigued by the mystery patient. He thinks that he can be the one to cure this patient, to think of something that no one has thought of yet. As he gets to know the patient and his history, things are revealed and he thinks he has it figured out. Then all of a sudden, the plot twists and leaves you speechless. Did Parker go crazy like so many of the others that had contact with the mystery patient or is his account of the story real? There is a supernatural element to this story, but the ending leaves you thinking. This is a quick read, but it will stay with you for a while.
