The Patient, written by Jasper DeWitt is a strange and dark story of a patient who has been in a psychiatric hospital for decades. Author DeWitt wrote in a blog like format, writing in the first person. I wasn't really impressed, totally not what I would have thought this book would be. A young over confident psychologist takes on a patient who has caused much chaos. Several of the patient's caregivers, nurses, and doctors,
either went crazy themselves, or died. Not the type of patient I would like to be involved with. It did leave me wondering though about many things at the end though, which is one good thing. So much of this was unbelievable. I guess being in the medical field helped form this opinion.
