So scary!!!
This book is written in a very unique style, with a series of blog posts, recounting the past events that took place in a mental hospital. A child was admitted long ago, and has been held in the hospital for more than 20 years. This is his story, and that of the brazen doctor that attempts to treat him.
This is a unique and fast paced story. A lot of content is packed in it’s just over 220 pages. It went fast and I felt like I just couldn’t put the book down, at times.
I felt like the main protagonist wasn’t too likable, but you understood where he was coming from, especially after getting into the story. At times, it was so clear what was going on, and you just wanted to yell at the protagonist, to get him to understand.
This book also had a lot of graphic content, both in flashbacks and descriptions of actions. It is not for the faint of heart, and I wouldn’t recommend these graphic parts for those who do not enjoy a good horror novel. Really enjoyed, overall!
