If you’re needing a quick read that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat, The Patient is a great choice! (Seriously, I read the whole book in two sittings!) The entire book is written as posts on a medical forum by a psychiatrist and his experiences in a state run psychiatric facility. There’s one patient in particular that drives his doctors and nurses to their deaths, but no one can figure out how to diagnose him. Many psychiatrists have tried, but failed to treat this mysterious patient who has been in the center since he was a young child. This thriller is as close to a horror book as I can get.
