For being only a 200 page novel this book really packed a punch. I flew through this and loved that parts of this terrified me. With that being said the ending fell flat for me and kept me wanting more. This was an easy read that would have easily been a four or five star read had I felt the ending had a finished feel to it. This novel is categorized as a thriller but I think that it fits more in the horror genre. There were supernatural elements in this novel that I enjoyed. The writing style was easy to get through and I liked the fact that you got to read interview notes and doctor notes in different texts. I thought this was great considering that this was Jasper Dewitt’s freshman novel. Three stars.
