After reading the synopsis, I went into this book with HIGH expectations and it delivered for sure. One thing I can say about this book is that it is definitely not what it seems. I had an idea of what I thought was going to happen in this book, but I was totally wrong yet pleasantly surprised. As soon as I started reading I was hooked and I could not stop reading, I needed to know what was going to happen. I had never read a book about a psych ward, so reading about one from the perspective of a doctor was really interesting. I think this book is definitely a good choice for fans of paranormal/thriller/mystery because it's got a bit of everything. Even though this book didn't go in the direction I expected, I love where it went.
