The Patient is a about a psychiatrist who comes across a patient deemed incurable and is determined to be the one to cure him. however everyone who comes in contact with this patient does not come to good ends. the first few chapters of the book hooked me, it was reminiscent of Frankenstein and the journals. i was intrigued with what could be wrong with this patient and what would happen to the psychiatrist himself. however halfway through nothing much was happening still (and this is a short book) and the ending was not what i expected but i will not spoil it here. i will say though, that finishing the last page, and i hope i'm not the only one that will think this, i have more thoughts on his fiancee.
