The Patient was written in a very different interesting way that intrigued me and pulled me in! That being said it was lacking a bit and was a bit trite or troupe I’ve been reading a plethora of these days. I’m glad I read it , in a matter of a few hours at that. I would recommend it for fans of psychological thriller type books although to me this reads like one big case file. It just lacked the oomph for of first example the The Silent Patient which it had some similarities to for me. I’d give a try - if you like these types of reads, as it was such a quick one. Overall, I enjoyed it and would read this author again. I just wish it was a bit more in depth - for me personally. We all have different likes and dislikes so although I didn’t love this one, many others probably will!
