The premise of this book was mildly intriguing to me, since I have a degree in Psychology. However, it was not easy for me to get invested in this book. I think this is mostly because the story is presented as being "blog posts", but they don't feel like blog posts. The writing starts our more this style but then morphs into something that feels more verbose and well articulated than a post on an online forum typically is. I also did not find the main character particularly appealing, even despite his obvious jabs at his past self. He simultaneously holds his own skill and altruism in high regard while heavily implying that he should not have been so sure of himself. It's a little jarring.
